BTS‘s members have been the subject of many false rumors over the years. Most rumors about celebrities tend to be malicious, but not Jin‘s. No, this hilarious superstar loves to make up harmless, absurd “rumors” about his members just for fun!
1. The fight that never happened
During a livestream Jin suddenly announced that V and Jungkook had fought before the livestream started. “They argued earlier, so it must be awkward,” Jin said. V and Jungkook immediately denied this by saying, “We never argue,” and “When did we do that?” V also joked that they actually get scolded together!
Was Jin remorseful? Absolutely not! He proudly said, “This is how you create rumors.”
2. The sports Suga never played
Jin took it upon himself to add some extra hobbies to Suga’s life.
Wrestling, paragliding — according to Jin, he does it all!

3. J-Hope’s hidden agenda
When J-Hope posted a photo of himself with Jin on his personal Instagram account, Jin jokingly accused his member of using him to gain more followers.
In the comments, Jin wrote, “Uploading a photo with me to increase followers, huh J-Hope.”
At the time Jin and J-Hope had the same number of followers, 36.3 million.
4. J-Hope’s album progress
During a live broadcast in 2022, Jin brought up J-Hope’s solo work. He playfully started a rumor that J-Hope had already finished 15 songs.
J to JH: I've heard you've finished 15 tracks!
JH: ???
J: This is how you start rumours!But JH does agree he's working hard on his music, and he's got that little shy and proud smile on his face ahh.

5. Jungkook’s excessive mattresses
One of Jin’s best rumors to date might be the running joke he started about Jungkook’s apartment. “I went to his place and there were three mattresses in the living room,” Jin said. “I went into his bedroom, and there were two more mattresses, so I asked, ‘Which one do you sleep on?’ ‘I got all these mattresses so I can lie down whenever I feel like it.’ I go in another room, and there are two more mattresses! And there’s mattresses in the other room too!”

Later, in a solo livestream, Jungkook cleared up the rumors his members had started about his apartment, like RM saying he has 20 diffusers. He confirmed that he does have a mattress in his living room but said his members exaggerated. “I feel wronged,” he joked.
