“Single’s Inferno 2” Contestant Kim Han Bin Spills On If He Liked Any Contestants Aside From Choi Seo Eun
As Single’s Inferno 2 is a dating show, it is no surprise that viewers had strong opinions about the couples that should leave Inferno together.
Although there were many surprises in the finale, including Shin Seul Ki selecting Choi Jong Woo over Kim Jin Young, who fans had anticipated she’d end up with, there were also expected pairings.
For instance, fans weren’t surprised that Kim Se Jun and Lee So E left together, and although the two don’t seem to be together at the moment, fans still have hope for the couple’s future.
Similarly, fans expected Jo Yoong Jae and Choi Seo Eun to leave the island together, given all their romantic interactions throughout the show. And unsurprisingly, the two still seem like they are currently dating.
So even though Kim Han Bin also selected Seo Eun as his final choice, fans didn’t expect Seo Eun to waver in her choice. And as Han Bin maintained the same positive attitude throughout the finale, it seemed like he didn’t expect to be chosen either.
So why did Han Bin still select Seo Eun at the very end?
In a recent video with Yoong Jae and Han Bin, Yoong Jae asked Han Bin if he’d liked anyone else, aside from Seo Eun, on the show.
Although the show focused mainly on Han Bin’s interactions with Seo Eun and his friendship with So E, some detective netizens found reason to suspect that Han Bin might have ended up with Lee Nadine after the show ended. Although the person’s identity has not been confirmed, Nadine has admitted that she’s single while finishing up school. And some fans are more hopeful that Nadine and Jin Young will end up together, given their chemistry in some recent videos.
Still, it seems possible that, given Nadine already admitted that the editors impacted how the contestants’ relationships were portrayed on camera, Han Bin could have pursued another contestant without their interactions appearing on the show.
But Han Bin explained that while it was fortunate Seo Eun’s feelings were returned by Yoong Jae, it left him at a loss for how he should spend the rest of his time in Inferno.
In fact, Han Bin hadn’t considered pursuing anyone else since the time period the show is filmed during is “too short.” Instead, once he’d chosen Seo Eun as his “first impression,” he focused on showing his heart to her.
And once Seo Eun showed interest in Yoong Jae, Han Bin was focused on the competition for Seo Eun’s affection rather than on getting to know anyone else.
Ultimately, while he was on the show, Han Bin admitted that there wasn’t “time to think of anyone else.”
Which Yoong Jae completely agreed with.
