JYP Entertainment Edits NMIXX’s “Young, Dumb, Stupid” MV After Fans Spot Vulgar Word On Haewon’s Shirt
Ahead of the release of their upcoming album, expérgo, JYP Entertainment rookie group NMIXX has recently unveiled a single called “Young, Dumb, Stupid.” It received mixed reactions from netizens, with some not enjoying the nursery rhyme chorus and others praising it for its catchy beat.
In the midst of this debate, eagle-eyed fans spotted something unique about the music video—leader Haewon was wearing a graphic t-shirt with a vulgar word written on it. The shirt has an acrostic printed on it in bright orange letters, and it spelled out “C*NT,” a slang referring to a female’s genitals.
Fans, however, didn’t mind at all and even found it hilarious. They quoted the song’s lyrics, “But who cares, but who cares” and “Do whatever we want.” They also had a laugh after imagining what Lily, a fluent English speaker, would’ve thought after seeing Haewon wearing it.
Finally, there were even a few who wasted no time in purchasing the same shirt to wear for themselves. Haewon is already a trendsetter!
Unfortunately for those who thought it was a breath of fresh air, JYP Entertainment quickly edited it out from the MV. The shirt now says “C.U,” with the “N” and “T” missing.
