BIGHIT MUSIC Files Criminal Complaints Against “Haters” Who Post Malicious Things About BTS

“It’s becoming increasingly severe…”

In a recent statement from BIGHIT MUSIC, the severity of malicious postings that personally attack BTS members has come to light.

It is known that BIGHIT MUSIC continually checks for malicious posts that defame, attack, sexually harass, or spread lies about BTS. They have taken legal action in the past against perpetrators of these ill-natured activities.

On March 29, BIGHIT MUSIC clarified that they recently filed additional criminal complaints against these posts.

We have recently filed additional criminal complaints against postings with personal attacks and defamation using new information provided by fans as well as collected through our monitoring initiatives.

They emphasized how attacking artists and spreading lies is becoming more severe and that they are aware of perpetrators’ tactics to post them in a sneaky way to avoid getting in trouble.

The act of personally attacking individual artists by spreading false information on a certain website is becoming increasingly severe. We are fully aware of the evolving nature of such malicious postings, which may be skillfully created with the intention to evade the law.

BIGHIT MUSIC clarified that they filed criminal complaints against the people who showed no signs of regret about posting malicious content about BTS—and that they have the evidence to do so.

In the case of individuals who continue to engage in such behavior, showing no signs of regret despite being investigated for numerous malicious postings in the past, we have filed additional criminal complaints against them. We have collected evidence of their recent postings and will pursue justice through legal channels.

BTS is a global sensation, and although there are true ARMYs that support them in loving ways, there are also many perpetrators with bad intentions. BIGHIT MUSIC constantly strives to stop these perpetrators from committing more illegal behaviors for their artists’ safety.

We would like to stress that we will continue to initiate strict measures to ensure that these illegal behaviors toward our artists are not repeated, and our policy of no leniency remains in effect.
