K-Pop has no shortage of tall stars, but IVE‘s Jang Woyoung is one of the most well-known skyscrapers among female 4th generation idols.

Standing at 173cm (5’8″), Jang Wonyoung is known for her glamorous proportions in addition to her talent.

Recently, her height attracted attention when this screenshot of her next to Liz and Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon circulated on social media, and it’s easy to see why. Their height difference is impossible to ignore.

That said, every once in a while Jang Wonyoung looks as tiny as Taeyeon when she stands next to even taller celebrities. Here are 9 of those rare instances!

1. IVE

Usually, Jang Wonyoung towers over many of IVE’s members, but she shocked fans by shrinking at the 32nd Seoul Music Awards. On the red carpet, Jang Wonyoung went from being one of IVE’s tallest members…

…to one of the shortest! IVE’s footwear and poses completely rearranged their height ranking.

2. Zuho (SF9)

During her time as a Music Bank host, Emcee Jang Wonyoung looked much shorter than she is when standing next to some male stars. One of these stars was rapper Zuho. He stands at 185 cm (6’1″).

3. Hueningkai (TXT)

Unsurprisingly, Jang Wonyoung also shrank when standing next to a member of one of K-Pop’s tallest boy groups, Hueningkai. He is 6′ (183 cm).

4. Lee Chae Min

One of the most striking height differences to date is this one between Jang Wonyoung and actor-turned-Music-Bank-emcee Lee Chae Min.

5. Juyeon (THE BOYZ)

Juyeon isn’t quite as tall as Hueningkai or Lee Chae Min, but at 181 cm (5’11″), he still managed to make Jang Wonyoung look smaller than she really is.

In particular, fans pointed out the size difference between their hands.

6. Yeonjun (TXT)

Like Juyeon, Yeonjun is 5’11” (181 cm). Seeing him next to Jang Wonyoung put things into perspective. If she looks this small, how short would actual short people look?

7. Sunghoon (ENHYPEN)

At 20 years old, Sunghoon might finally be done growing, but who knows? What we do know is that this ice skating champ made us question Jang Wonyoung’s true height! He stands at 5’11” (180 cm) tall.

8. Lee Kwang Soo

Nearly everyone in the Korean entertainment industry looks shrimpy next to this Running Man actor, who stands at a jaw-dropping 192cm (6’4″).

Given how gigantic Lee Kwang Soo is, Jang Wonyoung actually doesn’t look very short here!

9. TXT

Last but not least, we have Jang Wonyoung standing beside all of TXT. The height difference between them would still be noticeable even if there wasn’t a platform between them!
