The Rose’s Woosung Spills On How His Collaboration With BTS’s Suga Came To Be
The Rose‘s Woosung has revealed how he came to work with BTS‘s Suga.
When fans of BTS and The Rose saw Woosung’s name included on the credits for Agust D‘s “Snooze ft. Ryuichi Sakamoto & WOOSUNG” from Suga’s latest album D-DAY, they were equally shocked and excited.
Those who have watched the Disney+ documentary SUGA: Road to D-DAY or even been to his concert have seen some behind-the-scenes footage of Suga working with the late Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Now, Woosung has shared some information on how he collaborated with Suga for “Snooze.” At the Gold House’s 2nd Annual Gala, The Rose was interviewed by Etalk.

Woosung explained that he and Suga are actually longtime friends. They are both 93-liners.
I knew Suga from 4, 5 years ago. We’re friends. We’re the same age.

One day, Suga contacted him, asking if Woosung would contribute a hook and lyrics to “Snooze.” Woosung claimed it was “nothing crazy,” but “Snooze” has become a fan-favorite.
So, yeah, he just one day hit me up and said ‘Hey, I have this song that I’ve been working on, can you listen to it, put a hook on it and some lyrics?’ So, yeah, that’s how it happened! Nothing crazy!

We hope these two collab again in the future!
