SM Entertainment Announces It Will Debut 2 New Idol Groups In 2023 And Reveals Comeback Plans For Some Of Its Biggest Acts
SM Entertainment revealed plans for the upcoming second-third quarter.
On May 11, SM Entertainment released earnings for the first quarter of 2023. According to the agency, the label posted first-quarter revenues of ₩128 billion KRW (about $97.2 million USD) and ₩18.7 billion KRW (about $14.2 million USD) in net income.
In its earnings report, the label also posted a line-up preview for its upcoming artists in the second and third quarter.
According to the label, SM Entertainment’s marquee acts, such as SHINee (2nd quarter), EXO (3rd quarter), Taeyeon (3rd quarter), and NCT (3rd quarter), will all be making long-awaited comebacks.
Also eye-catching is the fact that in the line-up preview, SM Entertainment announced that it would be debuting 2 new idol groups in 2023. Not much is known about the upcoming groups debuting under the famed K-Pop banner.
