Netizens Amused By The Awkward Distance Between NCT & aespa’s Members In Group Photo

“Y’all would be crying if they got any closer lol.”

From June 1 to 3, NCT DREAM held their The Dream Show 2: In A Dream world tour concert dates in Seoul at the Gocheok Sky Dome. Unsurprisingly, the members put on an incredible show, and among the thousands of fans that attended, fellow K-Pop idols showed up to share their support for the group too!

Among those that attended were other NCT members, such as TaeyongJohnnyDoyoung, and Jungwoo

And even one of their SM Entertainment seniors, Minho of SHINee.

While the photos taken with their fellow male K-Pop idols looked relaxed, comfortable, and at ease, there was one photo with other idols that has fans laughing over the awkward aura that it seems to give.

Karina and Winter of aespa also showed up to share their support for the members of NCT DREAM, and took a behind-the-scenes picture with them as well. However, there’s a very noticeable gap between the female idols and the NCT DREAM members, almost as though they were leaving gaps for other people to fill in.

The blank and somewhat awkward expressions on some of the NCT members’ faces also has fans cracking up!

Replies to the tweet of the photo range from happiness seeing members of the two SM Entertainment groups together to laughing over the “social distancing” between them.

The photo even became the topic of a post on an online forum, and comments there ranged from amused to understanding why male and female idols might be so concerned about seeming close with each other.

We do enjoy seeing artists supporting other artists, though, even if the picture is a bit funny and awkward!
