MAMAMOO's Hwasa Bleeds On Stage During Performance Alarming Audiences

Audiences were shocked after MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa bled on stage during a performance.

On the June 15 episode of tvN‘s Dancing Queens On The Road, Hwasa performed for fans alongside her co-star and groupmates, Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyori, and BoA.

During her performance, Hwasa revealed that “Maria” was her most cherished song. The idol then shared with audiences the significance of the song’s name.

Maria is my Christian name. It is also the name I use when I go overseas. The song reminds you that you’re beautiful and you’re okay, so live your best life. The song is full of hope and is my favorite song.

While the idol stunned on stage, audience’s excitement immediately turned to concern after it was revealed that the idol was bleeding from her face. The event’s host was the first to notice Hwasa’s injury while interviewing the idol after her performance.

Hwasa then revealed while she was dancing on stage, she had collided with her mic but played it off, stating, “I didn’t feel any pain.”
