There is seemingly nothing that BTS‘s Jungkook isn’t good at, and he’s not known as an all-rounder idol for no reason.

Since debuting in 2013, Jungkook has shown off everything he can do, from performing on stage, becoming an ambassador for Calvin Klein, his unreal personality, and of course, his athleticism.

Proof of all this has been Jungkook sharing his love of boxing with fans.

Whether it was on Instagram or during his Weverse live broadcasts, ARMYs couldn’t hide their shock at the idol’s skills. It was even enough to become a hot topic amongst the BTS members themselves.

Along with his coaches and trainers, one person that Jungkook has squared up with is MMA star and Physical: 100 star Choo Sung Hoon.

As well as sparring back in 2022…

The two reunited in 2023 when the athlete shared a heartwarming post about Jungkook.

Well, it seems like Choo Sung Hoon has even more appreciation for Jungkook and his boxing skills.

A clip posted on TikTok earlier in the month has just started gaining attention on social media. During the video, the athlete was asked about how his boxing with Jungkook came about, and Choo Sung Hoon couldn’t stop praising the idol.

So strong. He has really good skills. I’m surprised.

In particular, Choo Sung Hoon shared his thoughts on Jungkook’s potential to be a boxer in the future, even pointing to his food habits.

Jungkook has the potential to be a professional boxer if he focuses on it because he’s a singer, but if he focused on just training, he could be a professional boxer. He eats a lot and drinks a lot. The three of us went to a Korean BBQ, and we ate 25 packs of meat, kimchi jjigae, fried rice, and kimchi jjigae with ramen as well. He eats a lot.

Choo Sung Hoon then went on to explain that he had seemingly revealed his thoughts to Jungkook as he extended the invite for another session.

I invited him to train with me because it’s different from training with amateurs. So I wanted him to experience what it’s like to train with a professional. And Jungkook wants to do it again.

Although Jungkook is nowhere near giving up the life of an idol, it seems like the idol has a future in boxing if he ever wants to try anything new.
