On June 4, 2021, a rather odd phrase began trending on K-Twitter. “Wearing slippers” rose on the trending topics chart for K-Pop-related terms.
The reason for the unusual trend? BTS‘s Jimin of course! In a dance practice video, Jimin displayed his amazing dance skills as usual. Fans, however, noticed something odd. Jimin was practicing in slippers!

The loose footwear didn’t stop him from being agile.
He was dancing like the rent was due!
Not only that, but he absolutely nailed the stunts such as jumping over the back dancers.

Needless to say, he rocked the actual performance itself as well!
We’re in awe at the way he’s able to control his body so perfectly! As dancers may know, it’s tough to dance in slippers due to the lack of grip. Kudos to Jimin for his amazing abilities! Check out the full video below.
