The woman’s husband, through his lawyer, claimed that he wasn’t aware of the crime and apologized for his negligence.

I knew my wife was pregnant, but I didn’t know she had killed the babies. I trusted her when she told me she had an abortion.

I am sorry for not protecting the babies. I suspected something was wrong when the police recently investigated my wife, but I didn’t think she had done something like this. I couldn’t protect the babies, and I think it is a crime that I didn’t know something like this happened. I am so sorry to the babies.

Meanwhile, employees at the Ministry of Health And Welfare became concerned after finding records of the children being born but had not found a registered birth certificate. Suwon officials then visited the woman’s home but called the police after the woman refused to speak with officials called the police. The police then searched the woman’s home and found the babies in the refrigerator.
