K-Pop Was The Main Event Of Paris Fashion With Idols Dominating The List Of Biggest Influencers
The latest Paris Fashion Week events came to an end, and there were a huge number of global stars who attended the shows. Lefty, an influencer marketing platform, recently released statistics about the event.
The top-ranked brands during #PFW menswear were:
🥇@LouisVuitton
🥈@Dior
🥉#AMI@LoeweOfficial @givenchy @kenzo @RICKOWENSONLINE #amiri#bluemarble#walesbonner pic.twitter.com/Mm5cNJaYHX— Lefty.io (@lefty_io) June 28, 2023
In particular, they shared a report ranking the top influencers in regard to “Earned Media Value” known as EMV. EMB is an influencer marketing metric that’s used to find the value of social media content by measuring engagement with social media content about a brand.
Following the end of Paris fashion week, K-Pop idols dominated the top three. In the first place position, the idol with the most EMV was none other than ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo (also known as Cha Eun Woo).
As a DIOR ambassador, Eunwoo has always shined for the brand, and something hits differently when the idol attends events globally.
It was no different when the idol was in Paris for the recent DIOR show. While netizens had mixed responses to Eunwoo’s outfit, the idol still shined with his appearance and he was definitely the main event as his personality and visuals shined. Whether it was his posts or stories, Eunwoo kept fans updated with his time in the beloved city.
During his time in Paris, Eunwoo had an EMV of $8.4m with two posts.
Yet, the idol in second place shocked fans because he didn’t even attend. As one of DIOR’s ambassadors, BTS‘s Jimin was the idol who came second in the list of most visible influencers during Paris Fashion Week.
When Jimin was announced as an ambassador, he quickly made his presence known after wowing at a DIOR show back in January!
Unfortunately, Jimin couldn’t attend the show in June, which makes it even more confusing about how he could make it so high on the list. Luckily, many believe that the answer all lies in the idol’s Instagram post.
On June 22, Jimin excited fans when he shared a photo of a DIOR invitation to the show on his Instagram. At first, many thought it meant the idol would be traveling to Paris for the show. Although he didn’t attend the engagement amassed a lot of attention and currently has over 5.7 million likes. This single post equaled an EMV of $5.6m.
In third place, NCT also made their mark as both Yuta and Taeyong attended events for LOEWE and Louis Vuitton. As well as making a huge impact with their visuals, both idols made sure to share their experiences online and had an EMV of $4.7m with seven posts.
It seems like K-Pop idols have once again dominated fashion week, and as the number of stars attending continues to grow, they’re showcasing the continuous growth of K-Pop globally.
