Aespa’s Karina Uploads A Picture Showing How Similar She And LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon Are
Karina of aespa recently posted a picture that revealed how close she is with LE SSERAFIM‘s Chaewon.
Any Karina fan will already know that the K-Pop star is a massive fan of the Japanese manga series Crayon Shin-Chan. She once even rented out the whole theater so she could watch the Crayon Shin-Chan movie in private.

Well, it appears that her love for Crayon Shin-Chan hasn’t died down; in fact, she is sharing her love for the manga with another K-Pop idol. On June 30, Karina posted a picture of a gift she received from Chaewon through the fan platform Bubble. The photo was of a clock in the shape of the Crayon Shin-Chan character, Bo-Chan.
Karina sent this photo to a fan along with a message explaining how she got this gift a while ago but kept it a secret because she knew her fan would love it knowing she made a good friend. She also talked about how cute Chaewon is.
Taking a cool proof shot of the gift she got me. Actually, I received this gift a while ago, but I thought [fan name] would like it so much so I kept it a secret… Honestly, Chaewon saw my proof shot and it pushed her buttons a little; maybe it’s because she was impressed by my photo-taking skills😎… I plan on getting closer to her and she’s nice and cute… Yeah, she’s adorable and laughs a lot; she’s super cute. You know how much being cute is a huge compliment to me, right?

It’s known that Chaewon is a massive fan of Crayon Shin-Chan—she even showed off her phone case on rapper Lee Young Ji’s YouTube show My Alcohol Diary. Her phone case was of the character Bo-Chan, with a rotating “snot bubble” just like the clock she gifted Karina.
The two girl group leaders share a love for this cute, mischievous character, and it looks like they’ve bonded because of it. In addition to that, Karina and Chaewon are also the same age, both born in 2000. As Karina said, she hopes the two of them get closer—and so do we!
