How BLACKPINK Jennie’s Iconic Outfit In “BST Hyde Park” Was Changed From A Wedding Dress To A Stage Costume
BLACKPINK recently made history when they headlined the famous UK festival BST Hyde Park. The girls performed several of their hit songs. Just like in Coachella and their BORN PINK concerts, they changed clothing several times based on the setlist.
One of Jennie‘s outfits was particularly well received. It was her white stage costume for the song “SOLO.”

According to Vogue, these coordinates were originally from a single dress from the brand Wed. It was actually a modern wedding dress from their recent Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
The pop star wore a customized version of the label’s Fluffy Check—featuring an open front and intricate cape back—from Spring/Summer 2023.

Though the general shape of the dress was retained, Jennie’s “SOLO” outfit was customized in small ways. Instead of feather shorts that matched the fabric of her cape, she wore a sheer lace piece that emphasized her legs.
She also gave the wedding dress a popstar feel by pairing it with her usual knee-high socks and boots.
This piece is from London-based bridalwear brand WED. Formed in 2019 by designers Amy Trinh and Evan Phillips, it stands out with its sustainable pieces that feature dramatic designs.
