Hong Kong Top Group MIRROR’s Jer Lau Successfully Completes First Solo Concert “Across The Universe”
Jer Lau, a member of Hong Kong’s top boy group MIRROR, has successfully completed his 4-day solo concert, Across the Universe.
At the venue, the concert organizer provided space for fan pages to set up fan support decorations, allowing the audience to view and take photos before enjoying the show.
While Jer is a main vocalist for MIRROR, fans actually looked forward to seeing another side of him — dancing! And Jer didn’t disappoint, as he kicked off the show with two upbeat songs, performing with a group of dancers.
Afterward, he joked about his dancing with the audience.
Was that part okay? Those who looked forward to seeing me dance, were you surprised? Those who want to see more of my dancing, you can leave now. That part was it. Haha, just kidding!

Aside from singing his own songs, Jer also invited guests to perform together. For the first show, he invited Panther Chan, a veteran singer who recently composed music for Jer.
He also became a “successful fan” as he performed with Yoga Lin, his idol since his school days, during one of the shows.
As the last song before the encore, Jer performed “Stellar Moments of Humankind.” The hit single recently gained attention worldwide as Jer and his groupmate Jeremy Lee performed it on THE FIRST TAKE, a YouTube channel with over 8 million subscribers.
Although Jer said goodbye to fans after “Stellar Moments of Humankind,” he surprised the audience when he reappeared with a guitar!
For the encore part of the show, he chose to cover songs that were meaningful to him. In particular, he performed Eason Chan‘s “Tourbillon,” the song that got him eliminated from idol audition show King Maker Season 1, as well as Supper Moment‘s “P.S. I Love You,” the song that later brought him back to the show for a second chance.
After the show, Jer spoke with the media and gave himself 80 out of 100 for the performances.
There were still some mistakes here and there. It was a bit challenging to maintain an excellent vocal condition for four shows. But overall, I think it was good.

Jer’s concert is the first of six solo concerts featuring members of MIRROR. Next up, Anson Lo will hold his concert, THE STAGE, at the AsiaWorld-Expo Arena on July 23 – 26.
