“Stay Safe, ARMY” — What We Know About The Body Found In Central Park
After BTS‘s Jungkook announced that he would be kicking off his solo promotions for “Seven” with a special performance at the GMA Summer Concert series on July 14, the anticipation among fans has been at an all-time high.
The tickets sold out in less than a minute, and on July 11, local time, a New Yorker ARMY posted a video showing multiple fans camping at Central Park for the concert.

On the one hand, the dedication seemed impressive to some, but even within the fandom, there were complaints about this new “queuing culture” for concerts. Many ARMYs who live in New York City were alarmed that it might not be safe to camp at the park, that too for four days straight.
the gasp i gusped when i found out the concert is on FRIDAY and it’s MONDAY https://t.co/amvhHQx5s5

The unpleasant discovery of a man’s body at the same park only added to these concerns.

On Sunday afternoon, the police were notified about a man’s body floating in the Harlem Meer at the northeast end of Central Park. When the first responders arrived, they found the man “unresponsive and unconscious.” EMS crews later arrived and pronounced him dead.
According to an NYPD spokesperson, the incident is being investigated, and the Office of the Medical Examiner is working to figure out the cause of death.
The fact that people are still camping at the park after the body’s discovery has concerned ARMYs even more, as they are urging people to prioritize their safety.

Yall too brave to be sitting on the grounds of Central Park in this heat smelling like piss and in a location where a body was found for better seats as if you can't hear Jungkook 5 rows down
