They allegedly threatened Jungkook in the past.

A couple months ago, BTS‘s Jungkook received threats from a netizen online after they allegedly sent food to the K-Pop idol’s home without his consent. They threatened to kill Jungkook and even claimed that it would be “easy” to do so, which led to ARMYs understandably worrying for Jungkook’s safety and sending pleas to BIGHIT MUSIC and HYBE Labels to protect the BTS maknae.

Thankfully nothing seems to have been followed through regarding the threats, but the situation was still extremely frightening. Now, however, the same person appears to have returned with a new target for their threats — ATEEZ‘s Seonghwa.

Seonghwa (ATEEZ)

They recently took to TikTok in order to share their alleged plans for the group’s upcoming performance at the Waterbomb Festival in Japan on July 29. Their threat involved putting acid in a water gun to spray at Seonghwa during the festival, since people are allowed to bring their own to the venue.

They’re claiming that they are, in fact, the same person that sent threats to Jungkook before, and say they’re targeting Seonghwa to “get revenge” for the “humiliation” they received previously.

They seem to be making multiple accounts to share their threats, too. At this time, they’re known under the usernames @.taehhyo, @ezreena2005, and @ateez_seonghwa_cult (though at least the first two accounts seem to have been privated with the videos now deleted).

ATINYs are seriously and understandably worried about the safety of Seonghwa and the rest of ATEEZ’s members, and are urging people to contact both KQ Entertainment as well as the people that run the Waterbomb Festival in order to protect them.

In an odd turn of events, the person sending the threats has recently posted an “apology” to the members of ATEEZ using their @.taehhyo account on TikTok. They claimed that the threats and horrible accusations against other members of ATEEZ were just a “stupid joke”, and even say that they’re an ATINY themselves, which sounds incredibly unbelievable.

Of course, fans aren’t buying this “apology” and are urging people to continue to contact KQ Entertainment and other authorities regarding the threats.

We sincerely hope that these have all just been empty threats, but we also hope that KQ Entertainment and other authorities make sure to take the proper precautions to keep their artists safe for their upcoming performances.
