Girls' Generation Sooyoung's New K-Drama "Not Others" Shocks Viewers With Its NSFW Content

The new K-Drama Not Others, starring Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung (also known as Choi Soo Young), shocked viewers with its NSFW scenes in just its first episode.

Not Others is a comedy-drama about the relationship between police officer Kim Jin Hee (Sooyoung) and her single mother, Kim Eun Mi (Jeon Hye Jin), a physical therapist who had her when she was in high school. This Genie TV original is based on the Kakao Webtoon Strangers.

The series tells the story of a careless mother and her cool-headed daughter living together without countermeasures.

Its premiere on July 17 shocked viewers due to its NSFW content.

The K-Drama begins with a flashback of the mother and daughter at the beach when Kim Jin Hee is still just a kid. Kim Eun Mi ogled the men in swimsuits who would walk past once they saw the child. This sets the dynamic for the rest of the show.

During Episode 1, Kim Jin Hee returned home eager to relax and drink beer after a hard day at her job, only to walk in on her mother watching a sex scene on television and pleasuring himself. She was horrified at the sight.
