“Hello this is CDNZA RECORDS.
First and foremost we would like to thank all the fans for your love and support for JAY B.
After much thought and discussion with the artist, we have come to a mutual agreement to terminate the artist contract effective as of 2023 April.
We would like to sincerely apologize to the fans for the sudden announcement.
Thank you.”— CDNZA Records
Following the departure of GOT7 from JYP Entertainment in 2021, Jay B signed with H1GHR MUSIC before leaving the label in July 2022. It was announced he would join CDNZA Records shortly after.

With the late admittance of his contract termination, some fans have been confused over the delay in the announcement. There seems to have been a good reason for this, however.
Last year, it was revealed that Jay B had reportedly moved to trademark his own label, 528Hz. The star allegedly applied to trademark several things for 528Hz, including licensing film and TV projects, tours, live performances, and lightsticks.
The application was still pending, though fans were excited about the new potential CEO.
Jaebeom has officially trademarked everything for 528Hz as a record label, production of albums, dvds, tours, lightsticks, licensing of film/tv, live performances and so much more as of April 11th, 2022! 🎉🥳 pic.twitter.com/Usrs8EcQEb

Following CDNZA Records’ announcement, fans discovered that the trademarks’ status was no longer pending as of May 2023 and that the application was approved and completed on July 17, 2023.
So Jaebeom is under his own company now? 528Hz filed for trademarks in May, just a month after he left CDNZA. He really moves silently 💀😭 https://t.co/CCUDrg2KtN pic.twitter.com/pEmS5VpPcr

Ah the trademark application status was completed and protection is granted on July 17th! So maybe that’s why CDNZA only announced today? Idk it’s unconventional but maybe Jaebeom wanted to be sure. pic.twitter.com/hDrw6h8IZs

While this news has not been confirmed, an Instagram account for 528 Hz has been set up since last year and follows not only Jay B but several members of his Õffshore crew.
The page also published a recruitment notice in May, which matches the timing of his contract termination.
There has been no official announcement from Jay B, who is currently serving his mandatory enlistment as a public service worker. Still, fans have expressed excitement for this new potential beginning.
Plus that 528Hz posted recruitment announcement on IG for track maker/ top liner on May 2 just right after the end of his contract. This man has his own plan and makes moves …under surface as always 🧐 https://t.co/3KBJfnu497
