Three Main Points To Look Out For With MONSTA X’s Unit Group Shownu X Hyungwon
MONSTA X’s first unit group, Shownu X Hyungwon, is preparing to showcase unprecedented teamwork through an unlimited music spectrum. Recently, Starship Entertainment revealed the expected points they will show through their first unit album, THE UNSEEN.
The duo, who has been gathering a lot of attention since forming a unit for the first time after debuting eight years ago, is expected to unfold their own style of music different from the group. This album contains five tracks, including the title track, “Love Me A Little.”
Perfect Visuals
Shownu and Hyungwon, who boasts a perfect visual combination, is expected to showcase their different yet similar style. The recently dropped teasing content presented a more mature image, gaining worldwide attention.
Producer Hyungwon
Hyungwon’s ongoing musical growth has consistently demonstrated his ability as a producer through songs from MONSTA X’s albums, Kiyhun’s solo albums, and the participation in albums by other artists, and is ready to peak once again through this upcoming unit album.
Hyungwon’s broad musical spectrum accumulated over the years is proven once again with the title track, “Love Me A Little” and the b-side track, “Roll With Me.” The delicate and edgy vocals and performances of the two members will create a new sound and identity for the unit group.
Choreographer Shownu
Shownu, who has led the team as the center of MONSTA X, unsparingly reveals the capabilities he has accumulated while working as the team’s main dancer. He has also recently joined Mnet’s Street Woman Fighter 2 as a fight judge, again imprinting his strong presence as main dance. He has participated in the choreography for the title track along with the choreography team.
On the other hand, the unit group’s debut album is set to drop on July 25 at 6 PM KST.
