BTS’s Suga “Exposes” Jimin On Instagram, Reminding ARMYs Of A Hilarious Parallel

He is on a mission.

Recently, an unexpected pop-culture crossover took ARMYs by surprise when Ryan Gosling, the actor playing the role of Ken in the global sensation Barbie movie, gave BTS‘s Jimin a shoutout.

In a video message, Gosling acknowledged that Jimin had pulled off a cowboy-style shirt with fringes better than he had as Ken in the movie. He said that due to an unofficial “Ken code,” he must now offer him his most prized possession — Ken’s guitar!

The guitar made its way to the BTS member, who uploaded a video on Instagram, thanking the actor for the gift. Later J-Hope left a comment under the post, praising Jimin’s EJimin’sspeaking skills. While this interaction between the two BTS members was heart-warming, ARMYs cracked up when another of them joined the comment section.

It was none other than BTS’s in-house jokester Suga. In his comment, he pointed out that Jimin doesn’t know how to play guitar in real life, and fans were in splits seeing his tactic to tease his group mate.

This incident reminded ARMYs of a parallel situation where Suga was again the instigator of the chaos.

A year ago, when BTS collaborated with Coldplay for “My Universe,” a behind-the-scenes video showed Chris Martin gifting the group’s oldest, Jin, his guitar as a gift. Jin, a long-time fan of Martin, was visibly excited to get such a meaningful gift from his idol. So, when the Coldplay singer started to show him some basic chords, he couldn’t be happier.

But Suga slid into the scene, reminding Jin that he already knew how to play the guitar. Jin shut him off with a comical speed, saying he had forgotten how to play the chord. The exchange happened very quickly and in Korean, so thankfully, Jin’s exposé in front of his idol was avoided. Fans, however, caught on, and the jokes wouldn’t stop!

Now that Suga has caused a similar but opposite incident with Jimin and his favorite celebrity, ARMYs couldn’t help joking that the BTS rapper is on a mission to call out his members’ bluffs whenever it involves a guitar and their celebrity idols.
