“M Countdown” Accidentally Shares A Photo Of MONSTA X’s Shownu Holding A Vape — K-Netizens React
Currently, as members complete their mandatory military service, MONSTA X have been remaining active in different ways.
Subunit Shownu X Hyungwon recently made their debut with “Love Me A Little,” and have plans to appear at multiple events this summer, like KCON LA 2023.
The duo is also making their rounds on the weekly music shows and impressing all who see their performances.
Each of the music shows has its own way of hyping fans up for their fave’s performance, and one of MNET M Countdown‘s methods is tweeting photos of the group that gives a preview of their stage outfits.

Before their appearance on the July 27th edition, M Countdown’s official Twitter shared photos of Shownu and Hyungwon. While the images showed off their handsome good looks…
…the original posting was deleted, as pointed out by a K-netizen on a forum post. The post alleges that the reason is that one of the photos showed Shownu holding an electronic cigarette in his hand.
Knetizens reacted to the posting, with many unsurprised, though several expressed confusion over how the photo was missed in the first place.

Shownu was criticized for holding a vape during a video shared by the group showing their experience backstage at the 2019 VLIVE AWARDS V HEARTBEAT, while Minhyuk was believed to have been seen exhaling smoke in the background of a video.
While Shownu is an adult and can do as he pleases, it seems the nature of the photo stood out the most in this circumstance.
