BTOB’s Sungjae in talks of joining tvN’s new drama “Goblin”
Yook Sung Jae, the youngest member of Cube‘s popular boy group BTOB, is reportedly in the talks of joining tvN’s upcoming drama Goblin.
Sung Jae, who had proved his acting skills in previous well known tvN dramas Plus Nine Boys and Reply 1994, is in discussion of possibly starring in tvN’s new drama 도깨비 (Goblin).
This upcoming drama’s story line is about how a magic creature invades the body of a man, played by Gong Yoo, in pursuance for an end of his immortal life.
Cast members confirmed to appear in the drama are actors Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook, alongside actress Yoo Inna and tvN’s Cheese in the Trap‘s actress Kim Go Eun. If he agrees to join the cast, Sung Jae will be playing the role of an unmanageable and insanely wealthy heir to one of the most prestigious companies in South Korea. This could be Sung Jae’s first drama return since 2015, when he appeared in SBS‘s drama The Village: Achiara’s Secret.
The drama is expected to be filmed during mid December 2016 and to broadcast on South Korean Entertainment network, tvN, during the Friday-Saturday timeslot.
