A Japanese Man Became A Dog—Now, He’s Joining A Pack
Did you know that a human being is actually living part-time as a dog?
Meet Toco, a mysterious Japanese man who commissioned a local sculpture company, Zeppet, to make him a collie dog suit in 2022. The realistic-looking costume took 40 days to make and cost roughly two million yen ($15,700 USD).
It looked eerily similar to the figure of a real collie.
He later opened his own YouTube channel where he shows all the dog-related situations he gets himself into.
From entering a cage on his own…
…to taking a walk outside with a harness, he’s living his best life!
In fact, it was on one of these walks where Toco found new packmates. While being interviewed by a German TV station, he excitedly met real canines who were out and about with their owners.
One white dog approached him first but backed away in fright.
This did not deter the collie from making new friends. Fortunately, three dogs soon surrounded him curiously.
They stayed nearby for several minutes, even allowing their owners to carry them and scoot closer for a picture.
Toco, on his end, was more than happy to have met packmates who treated him as their own.
