On August 23, Seoul’s Police Agency revealed the identity of the man who raped and murdered a woman on a hiking trail in broad daylight.

The horrific killer is 30-year-old Choi Yoon Jong. Police revealed the killer’s face, age, and name. Authorities explained that they had released the information in the public’s interest.
The suspect purchased a weapon and, after scouting the area, had deviously planned his crime, eventually sexually assaulting a woman in the area before murdering her. The crime’s callousness and its severity are undeniable.
