Some groups had happier endings than others.

While many K-Pop idols sue their companies, it’s much rarer for an entire group to do so. Whether their issues originate from money or abuse, here are eight groups that banded together to file lawsuits against their companies.

1. OMEGA X

The eleven members of OMEGA X filed a lawsuit against their company Spire Entertainment with evidence of physical abuse, sexual assault, and more. The group won the case to suspend their exclusive contracts.

6. B.A.P

One of the most infamous lawsuits between a group and their company was between B.A.P and TS Entertainment. The members claimed their contracts were unfair, revealing that the company received $9 million USD from their promotions and only gave the members $16,000 USD for three years of work. They ended up settling the lawsuit and returning to the company until their contracts expired.

After Kidoh and Gohn reportedly filed a lawsuit against Stardom Entertainment for mismanagement and lack of payment, leader P-Goon called out their CEO Cho PD for stealing money from them.
