The MTV VMAs took place on September 12, 2023. An annual event, the awards ceremony is one of the hottest in America. In 2022, BTS made Korea proud by winning group of the year. This year, it’s a girl group’s time to shine!
In 2023, BLACKPINK made history, taking home two crowns. They won “Group Of The Year,” for their stellar achievement. This is unsurprising given their year-long world tour and huge success.
They also walked away with “Best Choreography,” alongside their team of superstar choreographers, Kiel Tutin, Lee Jung, Taryn Cheng, and Sienna Lalau. “Pink Venom,” while decidedly simple, has an addictive hook and natural swag to it, making it a well-rounded choreography.
