Netizens Defend Latto’s Outfit Choice Following Her Performance With BTS’s Jungkook
Recently, netizens defended American artist Latto‘s outfit choice during her performance with BTS‘s Jungkook.
Jungkook’s “SEVEN” was undoubtedly the song of the summer and was awarded by multiple organizations, including the VMAs. In addition to starring actress Han So Hee, the sexy track pulled American rapper and singer Latto for a special feature.

While the moment was huge, some fans found a problem with Latto’s on-stage outfit. The star wore a skintight tan body suit that had silver 3D leaves over her breasts and private parts.
Some fans commented negatively about her outfit on a now-viral video of Jungkook and Latto at the event. While not liking the aesthetics of it is one thing, many comments did not approve of how “revealing” it was.
Due to “SEVEN”‘s somewhat explicit lyrics, Jungkook has had to explain and deal with comments about the song, ultimately reminding fans of his age. He was also questioned about Latto’s innuendo-laden verse, relaying similar feelings.
With this in mind, fans defended Latto online, saying that negative comments about her dressing in a revealing manner were not only sexist but also infantilized Jungkook.
