“I Don’t Want You To Be Happy”—The Hilarious Reason Why SHINee’s Key “Dissed” GOT7’s BamBam
SHINee‘s Key is one of the original K-Pop idol comedians! The variety show king proved this once again in a recent interview with GOT7‘s BamBam.
He appeared on Bam House, the talk show that the Thai singer hosts on his own. They reminisced about their friendship, having met when the latter was only 19 years old. Seven years later, the two are now working hard on their solo activities.
Key expressed his amazement at how far BamBam has come since then.
You’re not 30 years old yet. You debuted quite long time ago. And you’re doing this content alone?

Being confronted with how successful BamBam is especially consider he’s only 26 years old, the SHINee singer joked that he did not wish him well.
I don’t want you to be happy.

The other man couldn’t help but laugh while asking, “Why are you cursing?” The editors of the show accurately wrote down Key’s reaction with the caption: “Too fun to tease him.”
Though the older signer joked about this topic in the beginning of the show, he turned serious towards the end. He praised the younger idol for making it as a variety show host in Bam House and specifically as a cast member of the EXchange Program.
When I heard you’re doing the EXchange progam, I felt like it was so sudden. I was like, ‘Bambam?’ But when I saw you on the show, I was like, ‘Not bad.’

He was proud of BamBam’s growth as an entertainer, more than happy to praise his old friend for a job well done.
