It’s not been long since ADOR announced that they were looking for male trainees to add to their roster. ADOR plans on debuting their first male group in years to come, to follow NewJeans’ success.
In April 2023, they began looking for “The Real Hype Boys,” hosting auditions both locally and globally.
The submission period for open calls lasted between March 28, 2023, and April 13, 2023. Anyone could apply online.
On the other hand, open auditions are not the only way for one to become a trainee. More often than not, training academies will partner with various entertainment companies to host closed-door auditions. Def Dance Skool is one such famous academy. They produced HYBE Labels’ Hong Eunchae of LE SSERAFIM! It’s no surprise that their students would naturally audition for ADOR’s new boy group too.
One student by the last name Jeong has made the cut. On October 13, 2023, Def Dance Skool announced it through their official Instagram.
According to the announcement, Jeong made the final round and was accepted as a trainee at ADOR after a private audition. He’s born in 2008, the same age as NewJeans’ Hyein.
Although much about the trainee remains masked, we’re already looking forward to his growth and debut!
