SHINee Taemin’s Concern For Fellow Members Unintentionally Causes Onstage Trouble
SHINee‘s Taemin recently appeared on the new variety program Curator, and filled fans in on his days as a trainee, SHINee’s 15th anniversary, and his solo career.
To celebrate Taemin’s long-awaited solo comeback with his fourth mini-album, Guilty, Curator host HoonD carefully prepared talking points for the SHINee maknae to decipher through art pieces.
Each piece corresponded to a memory or story, which HoonD had Taemin explain.
Taemin candidly explained a variety of topics, from his “rule-breaking” with EXO‘s Kai, old rooftop fights with fellow member Key, and his infamous “magic hands.”
Many fans are aware of Taemin’s “magic hands” nickname, earned due to the SHINee maknae‘s propensity to accidentally lose or break things in a way that surprises even his fellow members.
HoonD wanted to know more about his “magic hands” and asked Taemin about when he had supposedly “flooded” an entire stage that SHINee was performing on.
Taemin didn’t deny it happened as he shared that it occurred “a while ago,” but he remembered exactly what led up to the moment.
The SHINee maknae explained that if a stage is too dry, dust can make it slippery. Wanting to prevent his fellow members from slipping, he decided to sprinkle his water bottle on the floor.
Instead, Taemin had accidentally created the very situation he feared when a large puddle formed on the stage, causing his fellow members to slip.
HoonD hilariously concluded that the situation all boiled down to the “magic hands.”
During the episode, Taemin also discussed his solo career and the moment he felt he finally showed his “own identity.”
