They were honest and casual with each other as expected of close friends. At one point, BamBam even admitted that he felt slightly threatened by Ten when he made his debut.

After seeing you, I thought my image will be stolen.

He couldn’t help but praise his visuals, saying that he was “surprised” by Ten’s good looks and skills.

Because you’re so handsome and you were so good so I was surprised.

BamBam added that Ten’s popularity was clearly felt in Thailand: “Are you aware that you’re so famous in Thailand? The hype is so big.” The NCT and WayV member replied in the affirmative, later saying that he was grateful for his fans.

Ten debuted in the rotating sub-unit, NCT U, on April 9, 2016 with the song “The 7th Sense.”

He was the first Thai trainee of SM Entertainment, having joined them in 2013 after winning the Thai TV show Teen Superstar.
