The start of the year saw fans invested in a show, following the journey of the trainees being evaluated and eventually having the final lineup of seven members chosen.

The group then released their pre-release single “DREAM,” to get fans excited for their debut.

After what seemed like months with no news, a new teaser was posted on Twitter at the start of October.

After months of waiting, netizens couldn’t hide their excitement when it was finally announced that BABYMONSTER would be debuting on November 27.

From the timing of the debut and the concept photo, it wasn’t surprising that netizens couldn’t hide their excitement at what they might expect when BABYMONSTER finally debut!

Yet, although the debut has been announced, an ongoing discussion was about why it had been postponed for so long! On Reddit, a debate was sparked about the reasons for the delay.

Some pointed out that the OP overestimated YG’s history of debuting idols and that it has often been unexpected and chaotic, normally to the detriment of the idols.
