Popular 4th Generation Girl Group Member Announces Her Higher Education Plans
With the average debut age of idols getting much younger with time, it is not unusual to see many of them decide to sit out formal higher education and focus on their career instead. However, a member of a popular fourth-generation girl group has taken the bold step to balance both.
According to a November 10 report by Star News, Yeseo, the youngest member of the girl group Kep1er, is aiming for a college education and is scheduled to take the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (also known as CSAT).
The test is scheduled for November 16 in Seoul. Yeseo is a ’05-liner, which makes her 18 years old this year. She is currently a student at the Lila Arts High School in Jung-gu, Seoul. Her ambition, as mentioned by the idol herself, is to pursue a major in acting or practical music.
Meanwhile, Yeseo debuted as a member of the project group Kep1er through Mnet‘s survival show Girls Planet 999 in October 2021. Before that, she had been a part of multiple girl groups, including CutieL, Prestige, and Busters. She is also slated to join the lineup of LIMELIGHT after her tenure with Kep1er is over.
Aside from her idol activities, Yeseo is also an experienced actor, having made her debut as a child actress in the 2010 drama Goldfish. She has appeared in dramas like Fighting Family, Angel’s Choice, and Dream of the Emperor. Her performance in the movie Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2013) also won her praise for her screen presence.
