Ex-Girlfriend Of National Soccer Player Rebuts His Claims Of Innocence In Sex-Tape Scandal
Hwang Ui Jo, a soccer player from the Korean national team, has been embroiled in a sex tape scandal since May.
A few months ago, the soccer player gained attention after an unidentified user took to Instagram claiming that they were an ex-lover of Hwang, accusing him of cheating and gaslighting. The user also made accusations against Hwang for filming sexual encounters with women secretly. They posted a video of a woman with a naked man, which they claimed was Hwang.
Hwans denied the allegations later that month, claiming that the videos were leaked by a hacker who had blackmailed him and not by any former lover. He also sued the poster for defamation and blackmail.
The individual was arrested on November 16 on charges of blackmail and leaking the footage. But after analyzing the leaked footage, the Seoul police agency summoned Hwang for questioning, suspecting the video to be taken without consent.
Hwang appeared before the police on Saturday, November 18, and his legal representatives officially denied claims that the videos were filmed illegally.
In the videos, his ex-girlfriend can be seen. What we are sure of is that the videos were agreed on by his ex-girlfriend at that time, and Hwang Ui Jo does not have the videos currently. He did not leak them either.
