King Charles III then presented the members with their MBE, shook their hands, and said a few words to each of them.
After getting their MBE, the members took some photos.
When the official photos are released, they will definitely be legendary, as even screenshots from the video showcase the members’ beauty.
After the tweet was shared, social media was full of warm messages of congratulations for the members who have made history as the first K-Pop idols to receive the prestigious title. They are also the first non-British musicians to have been awarded the title by the royal family, joining The Beatles and Adele.
The title is “Honorary” because it’s usually given to British citizens or those in the Commonwealth, which means that Rosé is qualified for a full MBE as New Zealand is part of the Commonwealth. Yet, it won’t be known until the official list is released.
