Jin Is Turning BTS's Military Life Into One Big "Jin Hit" Joke

Ever since BTS came of age to join South Korea’s military, many tears have been shed around the world. After ten years together, it’s hard for ARMY to say goodbye to BTS, even just for a little while, but Jin keeps finding ways to cheer everyone up. “Jin Hit” might be away from the stage, but military life isn’t stopping him from cracking jokes every chance he gets!

1. His unserious response to Jungkook’s emotional letter

Following Jungkook‘s enlistment announcement, Jungkook wrote a touching letter for ARMYs on Weverse. Fans were deeply moved, but Jin? He filled the comments with his windshield-wiper laughter!

2. Giving J-Hope orders before his enlistment

As the first member to enter the military, Jin has seniority status–and he wants everyone to know it! On Weverse, Jin jokingly took on the role of strict commander by giving J-Hope orders shortly after J-Hope’s military enlistment was announced. “If by chance we meet,” Jin wrote. “don’t make eye contact because I’m a private and you’re a trainee LOL.”

3. Marry me–whoops, I mean Happy Birthday, Yoongi!

Jin has a history of celebrating his members’ birthdays in funny ways, and he isn’t about to break with tradition now. During Suga’s birthday broadcast this year, some of his members trolled him in the comments by dropping marriage proposals.

After Suga gave a shoutout to Jimin and not the others, Jungkook wrote, “Wow, Yoongi hyung didn’t reply [to me on Weverse]. I’m upset, really!” in a separate Weverse post.
