The Popular Actor Who Manifested His Latest K-Drama Role Years Ago
Since his acting debut in 2012, Seo In Guk has been a fan favorite among K-Drama and K-Pop fans, as the talented singer and actor continues to charm netizens with his hard work and talents.
Recently, Seo In Guk made his K-Drama comeback with the TVING series, Death’s Game, in which he stars as a co-lead with talented actress Park So Dam.
To promote their new show, the two leads appeared on Urban Zakapa Jo Hyun Ah‘s YouTube variety show Thursday Night and discussed the series, their characters, Seo In Guk’s music career, and more.
Death’s Game is an adaption of a popular webtoon of the same name, which was published in 2019.
Seo In Guk revealed that he was a huge fan of the webtoon and was so inspired by the “fun story” that he immediately called his CEO to convince him to buy the publication rights.
The CEO was persuaded and looked into purchasing the rights, but another company had already made the purchase.
Seo In Guk admitted that whenever an original story is good, it’s often quickly bought by companies intending to turn it into a show or film.
The actor shared that the Death’s Game K-Drama production began years after his conversation with the CEO.
Seo In Guk then fatefully became the star of the show he desperately wanted to see come to life years earlier, seemingly manifesting his leading role.
