Former 3rd Generation Idol Stuns Netizens With His Extremely Sexy Glow-Up
Throughout K-Pop’s history, many groups have come and gone, impacting those who were fans of those idols.
Some stars have returned to the industry in different ways years later, like former 6MIX member Lena, who made her Netflix debut in 2022.
Others don’t leave but fade from the spotlight, gaining attention later from fans who discover their new life paths!
In 2013, the boy group Boys Republic debuted under Universal Music, the label’s first K-Pop idol group. Made up of five members: Onejunn, Sunwoo, Sungjun, Minsu, and Suwoong, the group won several newcomer awards.
Like other active groups at the time, Boys Republic’s image was influenced by the shift to cool and more fashionable debuts and promotions. As a result, many of their looks are looked back upon as “cringy.”
The group ceased activities in September 2018, with their last Korean release being “Ending Credit.”
Since then, the group’s members have gone their separate ways, with members pursuing different things in life, like member Suwoong graduating from college, though they reunited for their 9th anniversary in 2022.
The same could be said for member Sunwoo, who gained attention recently for his changed visuals!
While in Boys Republic, Sunwoo tended to be on the leaner side and had pale skin.
Following his discharge from the military, it seems Sunwoo began bodybuilding and has since transformed his body!
According to his profile, he is a personal trainer at a gym, explaining the change in physique.
Several popular fitness studios have photographed him (usually in his underwear), showing off his tan complexion and fit physique.
When he’s not being a super sexy trainer and model, Sunwoo seems to spend time with his adorable dogs.
