Company Privilege? Pledis Entertainment’s New K-Pop Boy Group Is Getting Promoted By Senior HYBE Labels Artists

“And people say company’s privileges aren’t real lmao.”

About a week ago, Pledis Entertainment revealed the name and logo of their new and upcoming K-Pop boy group, TWS!

This is the first boy group that the label will be debuting since SEVENTEEN joined the K-Pop world in 2015, and the anticipation for this new group of trainees is growing every day. They’re set to come out with a pre-release single titled “Oh Mymy : 7s” on January 2, followed by their debut mini-album, Sparkling Blue, on January 22.

And not only is the upcoming group being promoted on their own social media…

But fellow artists under HYBE Labels such as TXTLE SSERAFIM, and &TEAM are showing their support for the new group as well.

The members of ENHYPENBOYNEXTDOOR, and SEVENTEEN have also shared pictures of this adorable plushie they’ve received from TWS on their Instagram stories, contributing to the promotions as well.

The number of promotions that TWS is getting from other artists under HYBE, however, has received some criticism. K-Pop fans are discussing the “company privilege” that they’re getting by being in one of the “Big Four” labels in K-Pop, despite so little being known so far about the group or its members, or what they’ll bring to the industry.

On a forum post talking about the above promotions, netizens have mixed reactions in the comments section.

Are you excited for TWS’s upcoming debut?
