TXT’s Beomgyu Creates A Personal Instagram, Members Teasingly Don’t Follow Back

No Follow4Follow?

When K-Pop idols become trainees, their personal social media accounts are usually deleted, and after their debut, they will share the official group accounts. This can be seen with newer groups like RIIZE and ZEROBASEONE.

After a certain amount of time has passed, group members will open personal Instagram accounts, giving fans another look at their personalities through their posting styling.

The members of TXT were some of the most anticipated fourth-generation idols to create their accounts.

As 2023 ended, only two members — Soobin and Yeonjun — had their own personal accounts.

Surprisingly, on January 3, Beomgyu joined the solo Instagram crowd, creating his very own. He treated fans to an impromptu photo shoot for his first post.

Not long after, Yeonjun appeared in the comments of Beomgyu’s post, leading to some hilarious interactions.

First, Yeonjun asked, “What are you?” before teasingly asking if Beomgyu wanted him to follow him back. Beomgyu played up the charm with his responses to both questions (though he replied to the wrong posts). *Note: Beomgyu’s replies should be switched.

Yeonjun: Do you want me to follow you back?
Beomgyu: I’m hyung’s dongsaeng.
Yeonjun: What are you?
Beomgyu: Yes, please

Yeonjun turned up the teasing by sharing Beomgyu’s first post on his own story with the caption, “Ah, do I follow him back or not?

Knowing how Beomgyu responds to being teased, we can only imagine his response to Yeonjun’s refusal to complete the mutual. Fans have been enjoying the cat-and-mouse game between the two idols.

As of writing, Yeonjun (nor Soobin) has followed Beomgyu back.
