Newlywed Actress Changes Her Profile Amid Husband’s Cheating Allegations
Jang Shin Young is garnering attention after changing her online profile in light of her husband’s cheating allegations.
On January 4, it was reported actress Jang Shin Young, who is married to Kang Kyung Joon, changed her Naver profile amid news that her husband has been sued for having an affair with a married woman. For context, profiles on Naver are considered de facto official profiles of public figures.
News reports pointed out the fact that Jang Shin Young’s profile no longer has K-Star Global Ent listed as her agency. The agency is home to the actor and her husband, Kang Kyung Joon, who recently was sued by the husband of a woman with whom he is accused of having an affair.

Although the change in profile may have nothing to do with her husband’s recent allegations, reports state that the change occurred after the accusations first came to light.
SPOTV News reported they had contacted the agency several times regarding the profile change but that the agency has stayed silent on the matter.
Meanwhile, Jang Shin Young is an accomplished actress. The actress first debuted in 2002 and has since starred in over 20 K-Dramas. Most recently, Jang Shin Young starred in the 2022 K-Drama, Cleaning Up. Most notably, the actress starred in the reality show Same Bed Different Dreams with her husband and her child from a previous marriage. The actress married Kang Kyung Joon in 2018.
