Meant To Last? — “Single’s Inferno” Couples That Stayed Together After Filming

With the ending of Single’s Inferno 3, new couples were formed.  In the show’s history, many pairs have been matched, but only a select few continued seeing each other after filming.

Here are some couples that continued (or were strongly rumored to) at least past the show’s ending!

1. Season 1 Oh Jin Taek and Kang So Yeon

The first season of the show aired in 2021, introducing viewers to hot singles, including Oh Jin Taek and Kang So Yeon.

The pair’s rollercoaster journey was only made more interesting by their undeniable chemistry, and they left the island together. For months after the show, many found hints the pair were still together, including an alleged vacation.

However, it was confirmed in January 2023 that Oh Jin Taek was dating another woman, and his relationship with So Yeon must have ended sometime before that.

2. Season 2 Kim Se Jun and Lee So E

Season 2 couple Kim Se Jun and Lee So E had many convinced they were dating following the final episode.

Comments made by his friends only enforced these beliefs as the pair interacted.

A comment in one of Se Jun’s lives changed these thoughts, leading viewers to believe they broke up at some point. This was confirmed during a fan meeting the cast held later on.

3. Season 2 Jo Yoong Jae and Choi Seo Eun

Jo Yoong Jae and Choi Seo Eun were a popular couple on the show, and afterward, they were spotted on dates together.

During a livestream with other cast members, Yoong Jae confirmed the two were dating, even echoing a fan’s hope that they would get married.

There have been no indications that they have broken up since the show, but there were recent rumors they were no longer together.

4. Season 3 Lee Gwan Hee & Choi Hye Seon

Season 3 recently ended, and Lee Gwan Hee and Choi Hye Seon were one of the most discussed couples.

Of all the couples on the show, most viewers believed the pair had a good chance of continuing their relationship. Lee Gwan Hee recently answered about their relationship, while some deleted activity on Hye Seon’s Instagram also gave some hints.
