NCT‘s Haechan has allegedly been spotted smoking indoors.
NCT 127 recently returned with their special album, “Be There For Me” in late December and have been promoting it in different ways since.
On January 10, NCT 127’s account shared behind-the-scenes footage of the dance practice of “Be There For Me.”
During portions of the video, Haechan is seen holding something up to his mouth and inhaling. There is no smoke from Haechan after the item, allegedly a vape, but it is not uncommon to “swallow” smoke so as to not disturb others.
While smoking is a personal choice adults are allowed to make, there are multiple regulations in Korea regarding indoor smoking. Earlier this year, EXO‘s D.O was allegedly fined after a video clip of him smoking indoors circulated online.
National Health Promotion Act (9-4-16), smoking is prohibited in all commercial, factory, and mixed-use facilities over 1,000 square meters in size.

Multiple NCT members have been caught smoking or holding smoking devices over the years, and fans usually react with comedy.
