The Backlash That Forced A “Single’s Inferno” Star To Delete Her Instagram Story
When singles join the cast of Netflix‘s Single’s Inferno dating series, their popularity grows. Unfortunately, not all of that attention is positive.
Single’s Inferno 2 contestant Park Se Jeong felt the impact of that after having to delete an Instagram post because of hate comments.
While on the show, Se Jeong gained attention for her visuals and loveable personality. It shocked netizens when she didn’t find her happy ending with anyone on the island.
Yet, despite her popularity on the show, Se Jeong received criticism from fans because of her interactions with fellow contestant Kim Se Jun on and off-screen. In the end, Se Jun coupled up with Lee So E.
When the show ended, the contestants’ friendship continued. They joined each other for chaotic Instagram Lives, met up to catch up, and more.
At one point, Se Jeong shared a fan’s post of her wearing Se Jun’s jacket. Unsurprisingly, the fan wanted to know if there was anything Netflix didn’t show, such as a romantic Se Jeong x Se Jun scene. Se Jeong replied, “A lot of things have been edited. HAHA.”
Within a few hours, netizens noticed that the story had been deleted. At first, many fans didn’t understand why, but some fans seemed sensitive about the post, especially those who were firm supporters of Se Jun and So E as a couple.
Yes, let's admit Sejeong is beautiful, tall, and sexy but her personality sucks no wonder why she's not chosen by the boy contestants. Why would u repost it? It's either you're jealous of Soe and girl your not thinking of Sejun's reputation.

Netizens came to Se Jeong’s defense, emphasizing that she was showing off her friendship with the contestants rather than stirring up trouble.
Sejeong did what she did, it has nothing to do with sejun and soe. Sejun just live his normal life don't drag him for nothing. Let that man sleep peacefully he only has soe in his mind 🤧

Sejun and Soe are genuine people. Sejun is a gentleman to everyone. Soe is caring towards everyone. Thats why we like them so much.
Pls. Stop attacking Sejeong. Stop saying Sejun is a red flag. He has been very consistent thus far.

While it was a simple gesture for Se Jun to give Se Jeong a jacket, a jacket happened to be a huge part of his love story with So E. After going to “Paradise,” So E returned wearing Se Jun’s jacket, and it seemingly cemented their chemistry.

Another user also shared their “unhappiness” with Se Jeong after noticing that she had liked all of Se Jun’s photos. Although it is a simple action, some believed it was proof that she was either dating Se Jun or trying to stir up “trouble.”
Se Jeong later posted a video of her and So E on the island, possibly to show how close they were, and that she wasn’t trying to damage So E’s relationship with Se Jun.
