K-Netizens React To Fashion Magazine Removing Muscles From Sung Hae Eun’s Photo Shoot

What do you think about this?

Recently, an online community board gained much attention for the extreme editing of Sung Hae Eun’s photo shoot with Esquire magazine. In the photos they edited the photos to make her curves and lines look soft and “feminine.”

However, in the unedited photos, netizens could see her toned muscles.

No…Esquire…why did you remove her muscles…she lives at the gym.

Why did Esquire erase her muscles…she looks so much healthier with them.

Just by looking at her Instagram, they could tell that she had no problem at all showing off her muscles!

Netizens couldn’t understand why they would go through the trouble to remove her muscles from the photo.

  • “It disgusts me that they removed all her muscles.”
  • “Having no muscles and looking fragile is the standard of beauty for people my mom’s age. Times have changed and the fact they are still pushing this concept is so outdated.”
  • “I can understand a bit of editing, but deleting the whole thing is strange.”
  • “Having her muscles makes it look more healthy and pretty.”
  • “It’s not like having a slender model and putting a six-pack on her with CGI, right? Do we have to understand that they totally erased her muscles? This has gone overboard.”
  • “Hae Eun is a healthy queen.”

Sung Hae Eun appeared on TVING‘s original dating show, EXchange 2, a series that followed a group of former partners living together as former couples decide whether to hold on to old relationships or start new ones.
