A K-Drama Villain Receives So Many Marriage Proposals That He Urges Fans To Raise Their Standards
Sometimes an actor or actress makes the villain so sexy and charismatic that viewers can’t resist their charm and forget to root for the hero.
That’s the case for one particular actor from Netflix‘s hit horror series Sweet Home.
Actor Lee Jin Wook revealed that he receives marriage proposals from fans but showed concern when they come from a younger demographic.
Salon Drip host Jang Do Yeon shared Lee Jin Wook’s concern, wondering which one of his roles drew them to him.
It further confused Lee Jin Wook because he’s been taking darker roles for Sweet Home and Bulgasal: Immortal Souls.
When thinking of those characters, Lee Jin Wook wanted fans to aim for healthier love interests. He said, “I haven’t done a romantic drama in a while… So I want to reply, ‘You shouldn’t have such taste!’”
Although viewers may get swept away by Lee Jin Wook’s acting, he reminded them not to idolize characters with unhealthy habits and bad qualities.
