Model-Actress Laments Being Pressured To Take Her Clothes Off Throughout Career
Model and actress Jang Yoon Ju (aka Jang Yoon Joo) spoke about her struggles with modeling.
On January 17, Jang Yoon Ju was a guest on a YouTube show. In the episode, Jang Yoon Ju and fellow model Lee So Ra spoke about being asked to reveal her body for photoshoots.
I was asked to wear revealing clothes at every fashion show. One time, I wore minimal underwear under a wide-open white dress.

Lee So Ra continued, stating that the incident was made even more embarrassing due to the fact that some of Korea’s biggest celebrities were at the fashion show.
What’s worse is the fact that Jo In Sung was at the show. I then turned away out of embarrassment, and I saw Jung Woo Sung. I was so nervous that I walked like a robot.

Jang Yoon Ju then revealed that she had a similar experience during her career.
I’ve experienced the same thing. They made me take off my clothes often. When I was younger, this scarred me. I know my body is beautiful, but there were many times when I was told to take my clothes off. When I was in my younger 20s, I wanted to take control (to stop it), but now I’ve decided to take it in as art.
