(G)I-DLE’s Yuqi “Panics” After Speaking About The End Of The Group’s Contract With CUBE Entertainment
(G)I-DLE‘s Yuqi has made netizens (and MCs) laugh with her comments about the group’s contract with CUBE Entertainment.
As well as being extremely talented, Yuqi has always been known for her sharp tongue and basically just being iconic AF. Recently, she appeared in a video where she chatted with the MCs about everything and anything, showcasing her witty personality.
In the video, the host pointed out that Yuqi had over eight million followers on Instagram.
But when Yuqi was asked why she didn’t follow anyone back, she explained that the company wouldn’t let her.
The next question was about how long was left on (G)I-DLE’s contract with CUBE, and straight away, Yuqi replied that they had one year and three months left.
The hosts teased Yuqi by saying that she seemed a bit happy when saying it, adding, “You’re counting your days, aren’t you?”
When Yuqi tried to deny it, she didn’t help by being pretty certain about the time the group had left with the company.
The co-host even compared it to someone in the military when they know exactly how long they have left in their enlistment and are counting down the days.
Yuqi then tried to bring back some order by saying,ย “I love CUBE.”
When the video was posted and shared online, netizens couldn’t hide their laughter seeing Yuqi’s quick answer to the question. In particular, fans have always shared their hopes for (G)I-DLE in the future, if they decide not to renew and go elsewhere.

While Yuqi’s comment was simple and only answered the question from the MC, it’s not surprising why the hosts and netizens reacted the way they did.
